Irresheim (near Frauenberg) is a tiny hamlet with interesting farms.
The most magnificent is surrounded by a moat and a forest / park.Kommern has beautiful half-timbered houses, a castle and a very presentable historical center.Vlatten is one of my favorite villages (I have already presented it here several times): there are many curious things to discover!

Villa Oppenheim in Fühlingen was built by Eduard Freiherr von Oppenheim around 1880 and was used by the Nazis during the war to accommodate forced laborers.
Popular language and the Internet know some scary stories about the falling walls:
It's haunted here ...
Ever since the resident large landowner had a Polish slave laborer hung up who had fallen in love with his daughter. There is no doubt that visiting in the dark is advised against for various reasons.
And people who tend to break in through rotten planks should generally refrain from exploring.A little note to all offices that may follow me on komoot:
I didn't climb a fence (I followed the trail that leads around it).
I didn't open any doors (rather the front door is on the porch).
And of course I was wearing a (cycling) helmet!
