Tips
Very nice river landscape with the big rocks in the river bed. In spring the water rushes along between the rocks. The Rur is still really untamed here! I also know the Rur differently, straightened and absolutely tame and sluggish, further downstream.

The Rur valley section below the Ehrensteinley until shortly before Reichenstein is a particularly impressive area characterized by large boulders and debris deposits. Here the Rur valley looks almost like a high mountain river valley.
