The railway line was mainly used for local freight transport for the supply and delivery of agricultural products and also for the supply of building materials, among other things.
The tracks were dismantled in the mid-20th century and now serve as a cycle path 'Leirekensroute'.
The steps invite you to get on. Unfortunately, you can no longer get on. You only have a view into a 1st class train wagon.
