On the market place of Haldensleben is the town hall, the Haldensleber Roland and the broad stone. Also worth seeing is the house Markt 21, a decorative timbered house with a barrel vaulted cellar, in the rear building (from 1722/23) are the remains of a black kitchen / smoke kitchen.
