The most difficult discipline that most runners do not master. Run slow.A 140 heart rate was planned. Did not find the rhythm today and so it was an average of 148 heart rate.

What a crazy tour with an unearthly team.We started punctually at 11:30 p.m. from Schierke station. The first goal was the highest elevation in the Harz Mountains, the Brocken. The weather was perfect and we were good that the sunrise would work.Shortly before 3:30 a.m. we had to swallow the bitter pill that there was no sunrise. The storm (up to 100 km / h) increased, as did the fog and rain.We continued to the third highest elevation in the Harz Mountains at the Achtermannhöhe.Arrived at the destination, the tragedy similar to that on the Brocken.Nevertheless, there was still a task for the second highest elevation in the Harz Mountains. The way there required a lot from all of us.Strong incline, heavy rain and wind.On the worm mountain, end of the world. So it went carefully over 370 slippery stairs towards Schierke. It was a great honor for me to do this tour with such great people.

Tackling three in one fell swoop was something special. The sunrise we would have loved to see would have been the icing on the cake. But you can't have everything ... (luckily).
Nevertheless, we had a great hike in a very nice community. 😎

Punctually at 11.30 p.m. we went from Schierke to the Brocken. Unfortunately, the hoped-for sunrise did not exist due to the cloud cover, but there were plenty of gusts and drizzle. From the Brocken it went on to the Achtermannshöhe and at the end to the Wurmberg, so that we hiked the three highest peaks of the Harz that night.
