After the business ceased, the building fell into disrepair and was sold in the early 1950s.
As the building fell into disrepair, renovation was no longer possible, so the formerly single-storey mill was now rebuilt on two storeys on the old foundations in 1971 using the old wooden beams.
Remarkable detail: An old millstone is built into the stairs leading past the building.
