The Rauschenstein is located in the Schmilka area. The rock is up to 40 meters high, and the highest point of the plateau lies at 406 meters above sea level. In the early 15th century, the Berka family of Dubá used the rock as a watchtower. If you look closely, you can still see old beam sockets and rock carvings that bear witness to this period. Until the end of the 19th century, there was a path for hikers to the top. However, this path has since fallen into disrepair.
