Oscar Schuster (1873-1917) is an honorary member of my DAV section, and in his honor almost exactly 100 years ago, the "cobbler's badge" on the first-ever "Schusterweg" on the Falkenstein was dismissed. Unfortunately, we could not climb the path today because of the wet, but thought at the beginning of his life for mountain sports and its achievements in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, in the Alps and in the Caucasus. Today I followed again the green arrows in the national park, the mountain paths. Very beautiful and each with its own character ... the Weberschlüchte very lonely and cool, almost mystical ... the Goldsteig exposed to the sun and slipping narrowly under the rocks ... the chopped way (as a detour variation to Bärenfangkegel) rather cozy through the cabbage and then the steep descent through the Bärenfangwände (trails in the area as a mountain path marked, Sep. 2019 ... should not give trouble with the National Park Watch, partly blocked Kraxelei and something suspended)
