The parish church of St. Nicholas is a former hospital church of the Teutonic Order, with roots in a medieval St. Anne's Chapel. Located directly at the entrance to the historic old town, it impresses with its Baroque altars, Gothic tracery windows, and numerous historic epitaphs.

Particularly worth seeing are the main altar depicting Nicholas of Myra, the artistic reliefs in the St. Anne's altar, and the terracotta Pietà from around 1400.
