The heart of the Lusen National Park Center is the Hans-Eisenmann-Haus. Informative, interactive and impressive, the permanent exhibition "Paths into Nature - A History of Forest and People" introduces the secrets of the Bavarian Forest National Park. What is the philosophy of “let nature be nature”? Which longings do humans associate with the forest? How has the protected area developed since it was founded? And who or what actually lives in the emerging wilderness? Visitors can find out all this and much more on the tour. For the little ones there is a special children's line with eleven listening stations, where knowledge of the National Park is conveyed in a child-friendly manner - and adults can also learn exciting facts.

Extra for children:
FOREST WORKSHOP: Are you in the mood for adventure? Then scramble onto our miniature replica of the Lusen in the forest workshop. In the children's adventure room, many child-friendly natural treasures are waiting to be discovered!
CHILDREN'S RALLY: Young explorers experience the exhibition with our children's rally in a particularly exciting way. There are tricky puzzles to be solved. Anyone who elicits the secrets of the forest will get a little surprise.
CINEMA: A varied film program can be admired in our cinema hall. For example, National Park shots or “Flotterlu”, the mascot of our children's line, dance across the screen.
