In the Friedberger Au between fields and arable land, the Siebenbrunnenbach rises quite inconspicuously in a wooden barn. At some point in the 19th century it dried up due to mud regulations. Only the spring area now and then still has some water.
Visible or underground, the empty brook bed runs through the Augsburg districts of Lechhausen and Hammerschmiede and then flows north of the A 8 into the equally dry Branntweinbach that I ran down yesterday (Branntweinbach - With snowshoes from the source to the Sickertopf) https: // www. komoot.de/tour/315295903.
