The flora makes the national park really exciting. On four hectares around the Hans-Eisenmann-Haus, visitors can stroll past some rare flowers, grasses, shrubs, trees, ferns and mosses, all of which are at home in the Bavarian Forest. The outdoor plant area shows several hundred species in their natural habitats and communities - some even in raised beds that are particularly easy to see. The touch and smell wall invites you to get to know plants with all your senses.

I can only recommend the outdoor plant area. It is very nicely laid out and the plants are also mentioned by name. Some flowering plants attract a particularly large number of 🦋🦋. Here I could z. B. the admiral 📷. (Otherwise you see less). The various well-signposted circular hiking trails are also great.
