The bronze sculpture depicts the sea goddess Oceania. It is a gift from the Odense Art Foundation and is probably one of the most controversial works in Odense. Children love it as a slide, tourists want to know whether it's a man or a woman, and locals find Oceania either beautiful or ugly.
