The Zonderikbeek (also called Roosterbeek in Zonhoven) is a tributary of the Demer. Part of the valley is protected as a Natura 2000 area in Europe. The Zonderikbeek rises in Zwartberg near Genk. From here it flows via Hengelhoef in Houthalen-Oost to the Teut. From here it flows further via Zonhoven towards the Demer.
