Hiking

The former pump house dates from 1939. From here cooling water was pumped from the existing pond to the coal mine. After the mine closure, the pump house fell into disrepair. The installation consists of two separate buildings: the larger part stands on the bank, the smaller one was placed in the pond. You will find the pump house right along the tourist cycle route network between junctions 300 and 316. This piece of mining nostalgia is located in the beautiful area of the Laambroek ponds.
