Here leads a section of the historic "Rennweg", a prehistoric trade route along. The historic mountain trail has a length of 65 km and leads from Dörfleins near Hallstadt to Sulzfeld i. Grave field. He is also designated as a bike path and is also ideal for a bike ride.

According to the historians, there are about 22 race tracks in Germany. In some places, racing tracks are also called Rennstieg, Rennsteig or Rennleite. Ludwig Hertel pointed out in 1896 that Rennweg does not come from "Rain" ("Rain" in the sense of border) but from "running". Race also means riding a horse here.
