Although it looks similar, the photos here show the Chapel or Weth Gate and not the Lower Gate. The lower gate is also in a completely different place (see correct highlight!). The Weth gate was built in 1714 and shows the coat of arms of Prince-Bishop Philipp Greifenclau above the archway. Since 1999 it houses the Red Cross Museum. The back of the chapel gate is rather simple and without half timbered.
