This house is located at the beginning of the forest road from Bransrode to the cattle house and was the former administration building of Ilse Bergbau GmbH. The house was empty at the end of the 1950s and was then converted by J.-H. Müller-Schirnhaus, the manager of the Bransrode quarry, for his own use. He lived in this house with his wife until he moved to Buchholz, Winsen (Luhe) district. The quarry belonged to the old Silesian mining company Giesches Erben. Today the house is privately owned and is used as a weekend home.
