Hiking car park at the Hohen Meißner, from here you can undertake many different hiking tours. Among other things, the Premiumweg P1, as well as sections of P1 and shorter circular hiking trails. Recommended and not so crowded is the Schneehagenweg in the direction of Bransrode, as a circular hiking trail from Bransrode up next to the former quarry and over the Meißnerkuppe back to the car park (approx. 7 km).
When there is snow, there is a popular toboggan slope just above this parking lot.
