In the right Verkne valley, near the Žydkaimis-Panošiškės-Saloviškės regional road, the Panošiškii spring bubbles on a wet slope.
The spring area consists of yellow sand with pebbles, places with interlayers
of clayey pebbles, sandy loam, which is deposited in the spring and in the streams of flowing water. The spring is fed by groundwater and low-pressure water. Individual, converging streams converge to form a stream.
The spring stream flows down the roadside ditch until it reaches the Verknė River.
The water of this spring is clear, odorless and comes from underground streams.
The carbonated water contains dissolved minerals: magnesium, calcium,
potassium and sodium. The content of nitrates and organic impurities is
very low, ammonium ions have not been detected.
The flow rate of the spring is average (Q= 0.9 - 1.1 l/s), the
water temperature is 7.7 °C, the water is slightly alkaline (pH 7.9).Source: Information board on site
