Near Žydkaimis, in the village of Galaverkni, there is a wet lawn where a small spring gushes out. The flowing stream of Verkne is constantly replenished by springs, which form the clear, cold stream of Verkne. In the rocky valley, there is lush vegetation, sedges and willows grow. A dozen meters from the source of Verkne, the flow is about 2 liters per second. Verknė, having covered a section of 2 kilometers, flows into Baluosios, and from it – into Vilkokšnis lakes.
