The flowing stream of Verkne is constantly replenished by springs, which form the clear, cold stream of Verkne. In the rocky valley, there is lush vegetation, sedges and willows grow. A dozen meters from the source of Verkne, the flow is about 2 liters per second. Verknė, having covered a section of 2 kilometers, flows into Baluosios, and from it – into Vilkokšnis lakes.
