The Crown Prince's Garden, part of the Meidling Chamber Gardens, is located directly in front of the east façade of the palace and was given its name around 1870 after the apartment for Crown Prince Rudolf was set up on the ground floor in 1864. The valuable specimens from the Federal Gardens' citrus collection are kept here during the summer months.
