The Hoge Noot bicycle bridge is an architectural eye-catcher, we cross the railway line, then approach the wetlands in Lingezegen Park south of Rijkerswoerdse Plassen, through which a picturesque boardwalk leads over the water surfaces.
The idea of refreshing oneself a little by the water, lying on the planks, fails immediately upon seeing it: green sludge and algae spoil any desire for this water contact.
Only the stimulating appearance remains.
