I passed this point while walking the Rosandepad. From Mariëndaal the Rosandepad continues towards the floodplains of the Lower Rhine. The Rosandepolder is located here. A completely different experience and atmosphere than on the estate. Extensive flat landscapes lie between the moraine and the river. With only a railway bridge as an interruption. For a few kilometers, the Rosandepad winds its way along the river bank with views of large inland vessels and the Rosandepolder.

Here and there the path is a bit muddy, but that should not spoil the fun. I walk the Rosandepad on a sunny Saturday morning in November and the sunrise is simply magical. The soft yellow glow over the wide river, the frost on the ground and the reflection of the sunlight in the dew drops. I don't think the Rosandepad could be more beautiful to experience.
