In the forest area around the Stiefenberg near Baunach, the Raidelhütte is idyllically situated at a fork in the road. Characterized by the two "summits" runners and the "stepped castle", the Stiefenberg offers impressive forest images and natural treasures for hikers in every season. The Raidelhüttenfest traditionally takes place on the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (August 15), at which visitors are treated to information and culinary delights.
A tree trail with tree phone and stag beetle horn directly in the vicinity of the hut invites you to discover 28 (!) Different tree species. The Raidelhütte, as the central refuge, provides reliable protection against the harsh weather.May 11, 2020
