Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful old stone bridge that spans the Ahr in Rech. In the middle is the statue of St. Nepomuk, who is considered a bridge saint.

Rech is located on the south bank of the Ahr at the foot of the Steinerberg, one of the higher mountains in the Ahr Mountains, about 30 kilometers south of Bonn and 50 kilometers northwest of Koblenz.
Right borders the following municipalities, starting in the north: Dernau, Kesseling and Mayschoß.

The St. Nepomuk Bridge Rech, which is around 43 meters long, up to five meters high and is a listed building, was built in the 18th century with four natural stone arches. It is a jewel and the symbol of the small wine-growing community Rech. The research chronicle notes the start of construction of the bridge for 1723. Today the bridge connects the town center with the federal road 266 (Ahrrotweinstraße). As the only bridge over the Ahr in Rech, it ensures the traffic development of the town center. The bridge defied the Ahr flood disaster on June 13, 1910 as the only Ahr bridge.
