This observation bunker on the Thyboron fjord was used purely for security. Because between Thyboron & the other side of the fjord, a blockade of countless sea mines was laid. Which could be detonated from the observation bunker.
But apart from the dark epoch of our time, this bunker still serves its purpose today. However, the entrance is not easy to find. Especially in stormy conditions, not everyone's cup of tea. You can get to the bunker by walking between the beach promenade and the North Sea to the jetty and then turn right to the bunker.
