Hiking

The standard 636 model served on the Atlantic Wall for observation and battery command during anti-ship warfare. The observation post, with a front width of 2 meters, allowed a traverse of 180°, 210°, or 240°. To protect the rangefinder, the platform on the roof of the structure could be covered with a reinforced concrete slab as needed. The standard 636 model also provided accommodation for 2 officers and 12 non-commissioned officers and enlisted men.
