The path on a dam past here is beautiful. Another dam branches off at this point with a meadow path and an avenue of fruit trees.

About the bunker ruins: You can still find remains of bunkers everywhere along the former Westwall line (Basel-Karlsruhe). A total of thousands of bunkers were built. Despite all efforts, around 25 percent of all buildings in Karlsruhe were completely destroyed in the Second World War, including many historic buildings in the city center. There is another bunker of this type here towards the Rhine.
