Holy masses are regularly celebrated on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Wendelinus Chapel on the Boxheimer Hof during the summer months. The chapel was built in 1815. The reason for this was the arduous path to the parish church, which the residents of the Boxheimer Hof and the neighbors from Lampertheim found difficult to manage, especially in snow and rain. The St. Wendelinus Chapel is located on the historic route from Lampertheim to Bürstadt, which the Lampertheim Catholics used to get to the Church of St. Michael in Bürstadt, since there was no longer a Catholic church in Lampertheim after the Reformation there around 1635.
