A memorial plaque to the Athletes-Academics who died in World War II - stands opposite the tennis courts in Skaryszewski Park. It is a boulder with the AZS logo attached, in front of which there is a plaque with the inscription:
"In memory of athletes, activists and coaches of the Academic Sports Association who died during the armed conflict, victims of camps and prisons - who died in the years 1939-1945 - Academic Sports Association."
