Sigismund's Column at Castle Square. The monument was erected in 1643–1644 as a project by Augustyn Locci and Constantino Tencalla. It was restored in 1885–1887 and 1929–1931. It was destroyed by the Germans in September 1944 and reconstructed in 1948–1949.
