Museum De Lakenhal is the museum for art and history of Leiden.
The Laecken-Halle, built in 1639 to a design by Arent 's-Gravensande, served as a place where samplers inspected the Leiden cloth produced until 1823.
The building has been a museum since 1874. After a thorough restoration, it has been open to the public again since 2019.
