Tour: Hermanville-sur-Mer, Caen
This time we spent the whole day and visited not only the Castle of Caen but also the impressive Abbaye des Hommes (where William the Conqueror is buried) and the Abbaye des Dames (where his wife, Queen Matilda, is buried. Worthwhile tour.

Tour - Hermanville-sur-Mer to Omaha Beach
Fantastic day even if it rained a bit at the beginning and at the end. The route, especially the destination and the return were fantastic. In this period of war in Europe, it pays to be reminded of what happens if you do not stand strong against bullies and dictators.
