The house with the large drying floors in the roof was built around 1780 by the Dörflas master tanner Arzberger. On the ground floor there were milk pits and the meat counters of the Dörflas butchers. Since 1985 the house has belonged to the town of Marktredwitz, from 1986 to 1992 it was completely renovated and then given to the Marktredwitz local group of the Fichtelgebirge Association for use as a clubhouse.
