The fish ponds at Schloss Seehof serve primarily for fish farming. Carp, tench, pike, pike-perch and catfish roam about 100 hectares, which are pulled in the breeding house and then exposed in the ponds. Since the ponds were cultivated over many centuries, they were awarded in 2016 by the Teichgenossenschaft Oberfranken as a cultural asset.
