From here you can see the Villa Concordia, built between 1716 and 1722. It is a significant monument of Baroque architecture and culture. The building is the second structure designed by Ignaz Tobias Böttinger in Bamberg. His first residence, built earlier, is located not far from the Villa Concordia on Judenstraße and is now home to the Böttingerhaus art galleries.

International Artists' House Villa Concordia

The main building is the baroque Villa Concordia itself, which was commissioned by the court official Ignaz Tobias Böttinger between 1716 and 1722 and probably had it built by the architect Johann Dientzenhofer.[2]

In addition to the institution's administration, the villa houses studios, a glass annex with apartments and a hall that can accommodate almost two hundred visitors and is used for concerts, exhibition openings and readings related to the scholarship holders.
