The Villa Haar, made of travertine or sandstone in the Neo-Renaissance style, was built in 1886 according to the 1885 design by the architect Otto Minkert for the lawyer Werner Voigt. Its architecture is based on the model of the Villa d'Este in Tivoli. In 1905, Georg Haar's father, Otto Haar, acquired the villa. Below the villa, a private park has been created with the Weimar Artists' Gardens. It is terraced. There is an ornamental fountain in the middle of the terraces.
