The Lindenbachsee is an artificial lake. Here you can also see herons fishing for a fish. In the past, when there was still a brewery in Weilimdorf, large pieces of ice were broken here in winter and taken to the cellar of the brewery. This kept the beer cool, because refrigerators did not exist back then. There is also a sundial at Lindenbachsee, but do not confuse it with the artwork. This is called "Piourette" and was created by the artist Peter Hoffmann.Source: weilimdorfer-heimatkreis.de

Location and history: At the crossing from Feuerbach to Weilimdorf lies the »Lindenbachsee«, actually intended as a flood retention basin to protect the center of Weilimdorf
A circular path with resting places invites you to relax, the surrounding residential streets are traffic-calmed and therefore car noise and exhaust fumes rarely disturb the spectacle of ducks fighting and the gigantic carp gasping for air.
