The Lindenbachsee is an artificially created lake. Here you can also see herons catching a fish. In the past, when there was still a brewery in Weilimdorf, large pieces of ice were broken here in winter and brought to the brewery's cellar. This kept the beer cool, because there weren't any refrigerators back then. There is also a sundial at Lindenbachsee, but don't confuse it with the work of art. This is called "Piourette" and was created by the artist Peter Hoffmann.

Originally created as a flood retention basin, this lake primarily serves as a local recreation area in Weilimdorf. Various ducks, as well as turtles, can be seen on the lake. A beautifully landscaped path leads around the lake, offering numerous beautiful views of the water.
