In 1988/89, the local home association took the initiative and made the post mill again operational. With a lot of love and even more craftsmanship and technical skill, the entire mill equipment was restored again: grinding gear, shot gear, roller mill, classifier, cleaning system, peeling machine, elevator, everything is functional and in perfect condition. The 14 HP Deutz diesel engine, which was installed in 1931 to operate the mill even when there was no wind, still does its job. The beechwood gear with its mighty wooden gears is also impressive.
