The originally medieval building was converted into a baroque hall church with a three-sided choir in 1719. The massive square west tower with a pointed roof has been preserved from the original late Romanesque building. Approximately in the middle of the elongated nave, large vestibules have been added on the north and south sides, which together with the nave form a cross-shaped structure. Inside, a wooden flat barrel vault with ribs closes off the room. A wooden gallery is built in the west and a two-story gallery in the north.
