Tips
Apart from the multitude of very attractive paths on the Schlossberg, the observation tower is always worth a visit! A magnificent view over Freiburg and the whole Breisgau and also into the Black Forest reward for the extra altitude. Recommended rather on days with not so good weather or outside of the usual main stroll times on Sunday, because then it can already come to significantly increased traffic at the tower and the access routes.
