What a wonderful view! The 35-meter-high observation tower is on the Schlossberg, almost 200 meters above Freiburg. Well worth climbing the steps, the panoramic view is really beautiful. You look out over the old town of Freiburg, the surrounding mountains and into the Breisgau. The view is also special on a gray day when the clouds hang low over the mountains. Because then the Black Forest looks particularly mystical.
