Mountain biking

The Katholikentagskreuz stands on the Hirzberg along the forest road from Schlossberg in the direction of St. Ottilien. It was created by Franz Eggenschwiler for the Katholikentag held in Freiburg in 1978 and set up in 1979 at the present place. From Katholikentagskreuz you have a beautiful view of the Freiburg East and parts of the Dreisamtals.
