It begins to the north at Brunnenplatz (Fountain Square), where the Hyllige Born – Pyrmont's oldest healing spring – bubbles up in a twelve-columned fountain temple in front of the Wandelhalle (Promenade Hall). This square, where the Brodelbrunnen (Bubbling Fountain) is also located, is the heart and symbol of Bad Pyrmont. In summer, the palm trees among the historic, light-colored buildings create a unique Mediterranean flair.
