      Great view of Lügde. A panoramic lounger invites you to take a break. Just lie down and enjoy the beautiful view. Information boards provide information about the history of the Easter Cross and the Easter Bike Run. There is always a lot going on here at Easter. The whole afternoon you can watch the deches tamping the Easter wheels and in the evening the wheels are lit next to the cross and let them roll burning down into the valley.

      The Osterberg with the Easter Cross is Lügde's local mountain and as a Lügderin I can't say how many times I've come up here.

        The Easter Bike Run in Lügde is … actually almost indescribable.

        You simply have to have seen it when the bikes are brought up the mountain in the afternoon and stuffed with hay and roll down the mountain in the evening on fire.

        There is an unbelievable atmosphere in the evening when the wheels are lit and roll down the Osterberg into the valley. Can the bike make it down to the valley? Does it start to stagger and fall by the wayside? The mood is really great and as a guest you are immediately captivated by the entire atmosphere.

        I definitely have to enjoy the view from the valley again at the Easter Bike Run. During the last visit in 2019, we stood on the side of the slope and were able to follow the wheels well.

        A great spectacle that I have never seen or experienced before.
