This delightful fountain forms the lower end of the main avenue. As early as 1667, Count Georg Friedrich von Waldeck and Pyrmont had the 30-meter-wide axis laid out as a baroque double avenue to the Hylligen Born and planted with oaks. However, these were replaced by linden trees three years later, as the oaks on the tufa ground did not thrive. The alley, which is now a listed building, leads past the spa gardens to Brunnenplatz.
