The landscape architect Karola Brunken and Renate Koppen, teachers at the State School of Horticulture, have built the lavender labyrinth with budding landscape gardeners in 2004 in the context of learning field-oriented teaching. It is located in the landscaped garden below the Monopteros Hill and became one of the great attractions of the Hohenheim Gardens.
