Büngershammer sometimes also called Kleutershammer
(Cronenberg area)

First mentioned in 1743 as the property of the Bünger family from Cronenberg, whose trade relations extended as far as Danzig and Riga. According to Rauhaus and Thomas, mentioned in 1829 and 1853 respectively, Hermann Kleuter acquired the hammer in 1883. When it was closed down in 1973, it was still owned by the Kleuter family.
The pond behind the hammer (see picture) was leveled in the 1950s. The dilapidated hammer building is of more recent date. The broad hammer had two strikes, i.e. two tail hammers were moved by a hammer axis (shaft).
