The brick Gothic church originally belonged to the Franciscan monastery. Its foundation dates back to the beginning of the 13th century and was severely damaged in the Second World War. The restoration was completed by 1958. Today the church is the place of worship of the Pallottines. It is part of the European Route of Brick Gothic.
